And then, there is the culture of fear. I believe Michael Moore very nicely presents this in Bowling for Columbine. Since 9/11 Our government has does such a profiecient job of maintaining this sense of fear, impending attack, and national paranoia that Bush's advisors must be astute students of Hitler and Goering. As Goering said "Naturally the common people don't want war but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it is a democracy, or a facist dictatorship... voice or no voice... all you have to do is to tell them that they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. it works the same in every country"

I think it is time to end this governement imposed terrorism. It is extremely harmful to our children and to their parents to watch the daily terror aler on CNN; to be afraid of flying because of government tells us to be afraid. Fear yes, but when there is real danger. Do not fear "the potential for danger" for that is paranoia. We must take back our lives and to do so we must first take back our government!

It is for this reason that I am working to elect Howard Dean as our next president. Now, you may say he is too liberal for you; or that he supports pro-choice, or that he supports NRA and that those things wont work for you.
