    32. When can I give my baby a bath? - Top

    You should wait until your baby's cord has fallen off and is dry at the base before putting him in a tub bath. Likewise, if he is circumcised, wait until the circumcision is healed and the bell falls off (if a Plastibell was used) before bathing.

    Until the above happens, you can wash your baby with a soft washcloth with a mild soap such as Dove. - Updated: March 5, 2001
