Staring at the Statue of Liberty, sipping on a mug of coffee. Manhattan was waking up to a morning of radiance.
Innocent.
People relaxing, enjoying a smooth plane ride over the glistening seas. Not knowing what was soon to come.
Innocent.
A plane swifted by the towers holing up the New York sky. With full speed and fierceness, the jet ended the glorious morning.
Innocent.
With people crying for hope, and children crying with wonder, the United States would actually become united.
Free was the past.
