    1. Would Smallpox kill everyone in the world? - Top

    No.

    In the past, Smallpox caused the death of perhaps thirty percent of people infected. With modern interventions, that percentage would likely be even smaller.

    Of the survivors, many would have permenant scarring from the pox, but they would live on. Life, although globally changed, would go on and perhaps a lesson would be learned that would help prevent further biological attacks. - Updated: October 22, 2001
