    11. Can teething cause a fever? - Top

    I don't know how it could. However, it makes sense to me that if a baby is teething, he will put more objects in his mouth and therefore be exposed to more germs. This exposure could lead to an infection such as a cold, which could cause a fever 'from teething'.

    A fever while teething should be treated the same as a fever without teething. - Updated: March 5, 2001
