Our Mission: "Rainbow Pediatrics, P.A. is committed to providing our patients with quality, timely, and accurate pediatric care in an environment of mutual trust, respect, and compassion, so that our patients and their parents may grow and achieve their fullest potential."

Our Values: At Rainbow Pediatrics, P.A. we have the following beliefs:
• We believe that all children have a right to have access to quality health care.
• We believe that children represent the future of the world, and should be treated with due respect.
• We believe that through patient education and parent education many health problems can be avoided or treated.
• We believe that the patient, the parent, and the physician must all trust each other and listen to each other to provide good health care for the patient.
• We believe in the importance of checkups and other preventative health care measures.
• We believe in the importance of punctuality, on the part of the practitioner as well as the patient.

Our Duty: At Rainbow Pediatrics, P.A., we feel that our strongest commitment is to the patient. At times, we may have to advocate for your child's interests in ways which may be uncomfortable for both the parent and the physician. If we feel, for example, that a parent's smoking may be adversely affecting a child's chronic asthma, we will have to tell you this. However, we would hope to do so in a way which promotes your willingness to quit smoking; a way which educates you and offers you guidance rather than humiliates you. We may offer parenting advice that we feel will help your child; advice which seems contrary to your experience. If we do so, we will try to explain why this may be a good technique rather than appearing critical of your parenting. Being a Pediatrician is often difficult because of the triangular relationship between the doctor, the patient, and the parent. It is often the case that an intervention that is beneficial for the child may be unpleasant for the parent (such as giving a shot) or a parenting intervention may make life temporarily unpleasant for the child. We realize that there is no single way to treat a given problem or illness. We will strive to find solutions that work for the patient and the parent, while providing sound medical treatment.
